As previously communicated the Saturday Clearance Market will be open for trade to the public on the 24 December.
Market City has previously experienced a high number of patrons to the clearance market on Christmas Eve. Due to this, the PMA will provide entrances at Bannister Road and Baile Road in an attempt to reduce traffic congestion on Bannister Road and South Street.
Baile Road Market City entry gates will be opened for Access Card Holders from 0400hrs and the PMA encourages tenants and suppliers use this entrance to reduce traffic problems.
Patrons will be able to access the Saturday clearance market from entry points at Bannister Road and Baile Road from 0600hrs, which will be manned by PMA staff and Rotary WA who will collect normal entry fees.
Patrons will also have restricted vehicle access to the meat and fish market to assist with traffic congestions. There will be barriers and signage erected to divert vehicle traffic into the car park and crossing guards available to assist with pedestrian safety.
Please advise all staff, suppliers and customers wishing to use the markets on Saturday to be mindful of the changes to entry points.
Signage will be displayed on Bannister Road and Baile Road to assit in directing patrons and traffic control.
