The clearance markets are held on Saturday mornings between 7.30am - 9.30am in the Central Trade Area at Market City. The produce is sold in specified bulk quantities and is generally left over produce from the trading week. Access is via the front entrance at a charge of $2.00 per vehicle (no pedestrian access is allowed). The money is collected by the Rotary Club of Willetton on behalf of the Perth Market Authority.
The public are able to purchase fish from the markets on a Saturday between 6.00am - 10.00am. There is no limit to the amount of fish purchased and it is cash transactions only. The fish market is located at the rear of the property on the west side of Market City. Access is via the front entrance at a charge of $2.00 per vehicle (no pedestrian access is allowed). The Sunday Markets are held every Sunday in the undercover buyers parking area on the west side of Market City. Buyers are allowed entry between 7.00am - 2.00pm. Children under 15 are free and the cost for pensioners and health care card holders is 55c and $1.10 for adults and children over 15. Sellers are welcome from 5.00am. The fees payable are: undercover area $22 per week, open $5.50 per week selling second hand goods and $11.00 per week selling new items. There are some restrictions with the Sunday markets ie no firearms, no drugs and no consumables.
